Smoked Oak A/B – Full Stave Solid Oak Board

This product is made from solid oak in A/B grade, carefully smoked to achieve a deep, natural brown tone with rich color variations. The full stave construction, made of long, continuous lamellas, highlights the oak’s grain structure and gives the surface a smooth, seamless look. Each board is unique, combining the warmth of real wood with the strength of solid oak.

Smoked oak is not stained — its darker tone is achieved through a natural chemical reaction between oak tannins and ammonia vapor. The color develops through the entire surface layer, making it long-lasting and resistant to fading. The result is an elegant, naturally aged appearance that adds depth and character to any space.

The A/B grading keeps things perfectly balanced. The front (A) side is smooth and clean, ideal for visible areas, while the reverse (B) may feature small knots or light color variations that give a touch of authenticity. It’s oak in its purest form — natural and calm, but still refined.

The full stave lamella construction enhances stability and strength. Each lamella runs the full length of the board, creating a clean, uninterrupted grain pattern with fewer joints. It combines the natural beauty of oak with solid durability, ideal for stair treads, windowsills, shelves, and furniture elements.

All boards are produced in-house and available in various thicknesses, profiles, and finishes — oiled, lacquered, or waxed. Custom sizes can be made to order.

Care & Notes

Clean with a soft, damp cloth and avoid strong cleaning agents. Occasionally re-oil or wax to protect and revive the color.
